The weather may not give it away at the moment, but we are now in the midst of summer fete season.
So this week’s Advertizer Bygones has taken a trip back to look at the Orthopaedic Hospital Fete of 1993 and 1985.
There was certainly plenty going on with lots of delicious cakes on sale, brightly coloured floral displays, delicious jams and jellies, plus staff taking part in fun games.
There was even a rousing musical interlude in 1993.
Do you recognise anyone in this week’s photographs?
