AN AFTERNOON of fashion and fun raised funds for two very worthy causes.
More than 200 ladies from Oswestry and the surrounding gathered in Maesbrook for a fashion show and luncheon in aid of the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event, which raised more than £5,500, was held at the Courtyard, home of John and Camilla Hughes.
Jenni Pearce, of clothes shop Out of Town, organised the fashion show with fellow Oswestry business Fab Feet.
She said: "We had a really good response and it was all local Oswestry area ladies who supported the event, and it was brilliant."
