THIS week’s Advertizer Bygones returns to Ellesmere where there’s plenty going on.
Kicking things off is a visit in June 1972 by children from the primary school to J. Johnson and Son, the basket maker in Bangor-on-Dee, which recently closed.
Next we have members of the Ellesmere Choral Society in 1980, followed by a trio from a party held at Ellesmere Comrades Club.
And rounding things off is sports day in 1984.
Do you recognise any of the faces in this week’s selection?
If you have any photos for us to include in the Bygones please visit the office or email them in to emily.lloyd@newsquest.co.uk
