WELCOME back to the Advertizer’s Bygones page.

This week we’re taking a trip to Weston Rhyn where there’s plenty going on.

Kicking things off is a presentation night for the village’s ladies’ darts team which was held at The Plough in 1983 with plenty of silverware up for grabs.

Then we skip across to the village’s carnival in 1984 which looks like a very busy event, and continuing the summer theme there is a photo from the cub’s barbecue in 1977.

And we have a double from the primary school – firstly success for the cross country team in 1991 and a danceathon which was held the same year!
