A NEW book delves into the Advertizer archives to tell the everyday stories of people during the First World War.
Historian Deryn Poppett has used articles from the paper to create a booklet entitled Past Newspaper Articles Relating to Chirk Bank, Gledrid and Pentre in the years 1941-1918.
Proceeds from the booklet, which costs £2.50, will go to Chirk NSPCC.
It will be available at Chirk NSPCC's pamper at the Hand Hotel at 7pm on Thursday, March 28.
The 44-page booklet can also be found at Chirk Library, Millenium Hairdressers and by emailing fereliths@gmail.com
