An Oswestry woman has raised more than £3,000 for charity by organising a tribute night.
Nicola Barkley organised the Ed Sheeran Tribute Night, performed by Jack Shephard, at The Venue in Park Hall on Saturday, October 6 which had 225 people join in to hear hits like Shape of You, Thinking Out Loud and Perfect.
"I raised £3,306 for The O’Connor Haematology unit Shrewsbury Hospital," said Nicola, who has organised many fundraising nights including Take That and Adele tribute nights.
"I did the event for my good friend Mandy Ellis as her mum Pam Lawrenson goes for a blood transfusion there every three weeks."
The evening consisted of a hog roast, and disco support act Damon Jacs.
"I would like to thank Matt Lee and staff at the Venue for all the hard work on Saturday night, it was a great evening," continued Nicola.
