Lloyd-Williams Evelyn of Trefonen, Oswestry Passed away peacefully 2nd May 2021, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John. Much loved mother, grandmother and friend. Evelyn served both as a Rural Parish and Borough Councillor, being Mayor of Oswestry Borough 1991/1992. She became the first woman to be given the Freedom of the Borough of Oswestry in 2001. Throughout her years, she was dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Borough through her many roles in Public Service and the Voluntary Sector. She was extremely knowledgeable particularly on local matters. She will be missed and remembered by many. Due to current restrictions a private funeral will be held shortly. Family flowers only please, but kind donations in Evelyn's memory to the RNIB and Midlands Air Ambulance.
