PATRICIA HURDSMAN (NEE GRAFTON) - The funeral has taken place of Mrs Patricia Hurdsman who lived at Leigh Meadows and passed away at New Fairholme on Wednesday January 8th 2014, aged 79 years. She leaves husband Kenneth Hurdsman. Born in Oswestry, Patricia met husband Ken at 14 years of age and they married at 20. She worked within the family business until retiring 20 years ago, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.The funeral service at Emstry Crematorium, Shrewsbury was conducted by David Northy. Bearers were Stacy Greensall, Nigel Walters, David Hughes and Stuart McNeil. Family mourners were Kenneth Hurdsman (husband), Stepehn and Pam Hurdsman (son and daughter in law), Susan and Royden Richards (daughter and son in law), Darren Hurdsman (son), Clare and Stuart McNell ( granddaughter and husband and great grandson Cameron), Keith and Jean Grafton (brother and sister in law and neice Michelle), Christine and Merv Hughes and family, Jacky Greensal and family, Deena Morris, Joyce Perry and family, Geof and Mary Hurdsman and family, Rosemary and Adrian Roberts, Neeson and Rhiannon Richards, Carol Jones and all other family members, too many to name.The family would like to thank the many friends and neighbours that also attended. There were immediate family flowers only. Donations were collected in aid of the Severn Hospice, Shrewsbury. The family would like to thank everyone for their donations and kind support during this difficult time, and also David Davies & Sons for the funeral arrangements.
