James Clifford Albert Lloyd -
The funeral has taken place of James Clifford Albert Lloyd (Jim) who lived at Albert Mews, Oswestry and died at The Severn Hospice, Shrewsbury on May 28th 2013, aged 64 years.
He leaves his children, Julie, Paul, Becky and Rachel. Their partners, Glyn, Tracey, Jon and Jim and his grandson George. Jim was a very popular taxi driver in Oswestry before his illness, known, loved and respected by many. He will be greatly missed.
The funeral was held on June 14th 2013 at St Oswald's Parish Church, followed by cremation at Pentrebychan Crematorium, Wrexham. The service was conducted by Reverend Simon Thorburn. Bearers were Dylan Thomas, Steven Kirk, Brian Evans and Rob Jones.
Heartfelt readings were given by his daughter Becky and best friend Nigel Willoughby. Many family and friends attended, far too numerous to mention. Flowers were sent by family only. Generous donations amounting to £849.84 were received to be split between Oswestry District Nurses and Marie Curie Nurses (Hospice at Home).
The children would like to thank all their family and friends for the wonderful sympathy and support they have received during this sad time. Also many thanks to everyone who helped care for their dad during his illness, especially Dr Fiona Whittingham and Staff at Cambrian Surgery, Maggie from The Severn Hospice and Dr Zachariah and Staff at Lingen Davies Centre, Shrewsbury. Also, many thanks to David Davies & Sons for all their help and kindness.
