The funeral has taken place of Tecwyn Evans, local Blacksmith of Llwynmawr, Nr Glyn Ceiriog (late husband of Doris Mary Evans) at Ainon Chapel, Dolywern on April 27th followed by interment at the Garth Cemetery, Glyn Ceiriog. The bearers were Tom, Mark, Mervyn and Stephen.

Tecwyn passed away peacefully on 21st April at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. He leaves his two sons Gareth and Glyn and daughters-in-law Violet and Denise, grandchildren Rachel and husband Mark, Sally and husband Tom, Marcus and Rebecca, great-grandchildren Harry, Maisie, Alfie and Ollie. Also other members of the family too numerous to mention.

Tecwyn was involved in many activities in and around his local community and will be sadly missed by all.

Donations received totalled £878 and have been equally divided between Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Nurses and the Critical Care Unit, Wrexham Maelor.
