Y FRON, MOELFRE - Enid Evans of Y Fron, Moelfre, passed away peacefully at home on April 27th 2012, aged 80 years.

A beloved wife to Hefin who survives her after 57 years together in marriage, a devoted mother and mother in law of Robert & Jane, Michael & Judith, Ruth & Barry and Richard and a loving grandmother of Laura, Gareth, Daniel and Matthew. Dearly loved and missed by all.

The funeral service and committal took place with a large attendance at Llansilin Parish Church and cemetery on 8th May. The service was conducted by Mr. Kit Carter , Rev. Tony Dilworth and organist Mrs. Esther Milner. Psalm reading was given by Gwynfor (Nephew), tribute reading by Richard (Son) and a very fitting tribute to Enid’s life given by Mr. Kit Carter. The bearers were Richard Pugh, Giles Channing, Gareth Evans (Grandson) and Aled Francis. Usher and leaflet duties were kindly carried out by Jack Jones, Wynn Richards, Elwyn Hughes, Alun Ellis and Tecwyn Thomas.

Following the committal, the family were joined by friends, family and neighbours at Llansilin Memorial Hall where refreshments were provided.

Generous donations amounting to £1,407.00 received in Enid’s memory will be given equally to Lingen Davies Cancer Trust, Midlands Air Ambulance and Llansilin Parish Church.

Thanks: The family wish to thank all family, friends and neighbours most sincerely for all cards and messages received, the kindness and sympathy shown, the kind and generous donations in Enid’s memory. Mr. Kit Carter and the Rev Tony Dilworth for the service and finally for the overwhelming attendance and support at the funeral.
