NOEL SHENTON The funeral has taken place of Noel Shenton who lived at Tanygraig, Pant and passed away at Woodland Residential Home, Morda on Thursday 15th April, aged 86 years. He leaves sons Howard and Paul, daughters in law Ade and Carol, five grandchildren, Guy, Zoe, Kate, John and Jasmine, nephews Ron and David and nieces Val and Penny. The funeral service at Pant Methodist Chapel on Wednesday 28th April was conducted by the Rev. Andrew Evans with Mrs Betty Hughes and Mrs Christine Jones. Burial was at Llanymynech Parish Cemetery. Family mourners were Howard and Paul, sons; Ade and Carol, daughters in law; Guy, Zoe, Jasmine, Kate and John, grandchildren; Ron and Marie, Val and Les, nephew and niece with spouses. Other mourners were Mr and Mrs Brian and Phyllis Bedson also rep friends and Pant Chapel; Mrs Sue Evans also rep Ivor; Mrs Sandy Gibbs; Mrs Doreen Good; Mr and Mrs Eric and Marj Jones also rep Sue and family and Mrs Joan Addis; Mrs Joan Hawkins; Mrs Kay Wilkinson; Mrs Chelly Hayward; Mr Ron Hughes; Mr and Mrs William and Bronwen Humphreys also rep Circuit Steward; Mr and Mrs Stan and Hilda Kynaston also rep Rob and Olive Jones and Llanymynech Good Companions; Judy Kynaston also rep Ruth Evans; Mrs F Lambourn; Mr and Mrs Joe and Carol Miller; Rev. J Moore; Nic Morris; Mr and Mrs Joe and Olive Morris also rep Frances Jones, Joan Lewis and Doreen Dempsey; Mrs P Morris; Mr and Mrs Ted and Alma Stedman also rep Agnes Barbour; Mr Martin Jones; Mrs D J West also rep Ann Foster; Kate Heathcote, Diane and Heather also rep Steve Bol, Julia Newsham and all the staff and residents of Woodland Residential Home; Mr Wynne Jones; Mrs E Young also rep the Young family; Mr and Mrs Ken and Jan Williams; and many other kind friends who were present as well as those who were there in thought. Flowers were sent by Howard and Ade, Carol and Paul, Guy, Zoe and Jasmine, Kate, John, Olive and Joe and Plantronics EMEA (colleagues and associates of Howard). Donations amounting to £267 were made for the Parkinsons Disease Society. Thanks: Howard and Paul and families would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their much appreciated sympathy cards and messages. Thank you for coming to the funeral service and your generous donations for the Parkinsons Disease Society. We would also like to say a special thank you to all those friends who helped Noel and later visited him and also to all the staff at Woodland Residential Home where he stayed the last two months.
