Police and fire crews were scrambled to a crash on a main road in Oswestry.
West Mercia Police and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called out to a crash this morning (March 20) after two vehicles collided on Shrewsbury Road.
According to Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service the crash involved “two private saloon vehicles” which crews made “safe using small tools”.
Traffic information shows that traffic on the the road is moving very slowly. With traffic between Morrisons and the A5 at a virtual standstill.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 10:19 on Wednesday, March 20 Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Road Traffic Collision in Oswestry.
“One fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry. “Attending crews used small gear and winches.
“Two private saloon vehicles involved. Crews made vehicle safe using small tools.”
