A CHIMNEY fire at a property near Oswestry led to firefighters being called out on Thursday evening.
One crew from Oswestry station was sent to Weston at 6.15pm after the reports of the chimney fire.

A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said that one crew attended the scene.
They said: “A chimney fire…fire crews used chimney rods and thermal image camera.”
Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour before a call was made to SFRS control confirming no further assistance was required.
