A MUCH-LOVED animal rescue charity will host its big annual fundraiser at Oswestry Showground next month.
Hector's Greyhound Rescue, based just outside Aberystwyth but with links to the Oswestry area, will host the event on Sunday, June 25.

A spokesperson from the rescue charity said: “Your four-legged friends of all breeds are particularly welcome - and they can enter one of the several categories in the show.
“Come and meet some of the beautiful sighthounds available for adoption at Hector's – plus the alpacas from Admiral's View, who will be doing hikes on the day, and some gorgeous birds of prey.
“There will also be stalls with plenty of wares to buy , and it's all in aid of the work that Hector's do, rescuing greyhounds and lurchers in need, especially from the racing industry.”

The judging will begin at 12pm, but entry will start at 11am, and will cost £2 per adult, with free parking.
