TNS 7 Cardiff Met 1

CHAMPIONS TNS enjoyed a walk in the spring sunshine to emphatically outclass Cardiff Met on Saturday.

It took just four minutes for the game’s opening goal to arrive and it went the way of the visitors with Jack Veale heading home.

The lead lasted just four minutes before Declan McManus rifled home Josh Daniels' pass to level.

Daniels fired TNS ahead for the first time after 19 minutes and just six minutes later Danny Redmond added a third after latching onto Ashley Baker's throughball.

It was all over by the break with McManus following up to net after Redmond's shot was blocked in a packed goalmouth.
