AN OSWESTRY woman has been told she cannot enter the town’s Muslim Centre after she pleaded guilty to racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment.

Zoe Roberts, of Orchard Street, was convicted of the offence, which took place between April 12-15, this year, at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 8.

She also pleaded guilty to the same charge committed between March 29 and April 1, this year.

The 32-year-old was given a 16-week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, for both offences to run concurrently, for intending to cause harassment, alarm or distress using threatening, abusive and insulting words.

She was ordered to pay £200 in compensation for the first offence, while the restraining order to not enter the Muslim Centre, which is in King Street, or the street itself until November 7, 2024, was imposed in relation to the second offence.
