THE body of an elderly man was found in a car at The Venue, home of The New Saints Football Club, early on Sunday morning, staff have confirmed.
Though police are yet to confirm, local reports said that the emergency services were called to The Venue, in Park Hall, after staff, believed to be TNS Academy coaches and cleaners made the discovery.
Matt Lee, who runs the commercial side of The Venue, said police and medical staff used the building's defibrillator to try to save the man, aged 60s and above, but to no avail.
Matt added: "We just found him this morning.
"It was clear he had passed away and the police tried to do CPR and use the defib.
"He was an elderly man between 60 and 80.
"It's just really sad."
