OSWESTRY fire crews were called out last night (Monday, December 5) after a large good vehicles caught on fire on a road in Chirk.
One Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service appliance was mobilised to Rhyn Lane in Gledrid, Chirk, at 8.25pm.
One operations officer was also in attendance at the scene and the large goods vehicle was extinguished by fire personnel.

Crews used breathing apparatus, a hosereel jet and a thermal imagine camera to tackle the blaze.
One appliance from North Wales Fire Service was also in attendance.
The stop message to confirm no further support was needed was sent at 9.10pm.
