Bunny Run organisers have hailed the second event a success after nearly doubling the amount of money raised for Hope House this year.
Nearly 70 runners took part in the 5k fun run, organised by friends James Manford and Curtis Langley, which started and finished at the Wilfred Owen Green in Oswestry.
James revealed a total of £1,588.79 was raised by runners – nearly double last year’s figure of £844.
“Even though we had roughly the same number of runners, we nearly doubled the amount raised,” James said.
“Hopefully next year’s will be even bigger.”
Special thanks go to sponsors Sainsbury’s, Oswestry Cambrian Rotary Club, Ozloos and the British Ironwork Centre.
