Fire crews were called to a bus fire in Maesbury Road this afternoon.
Two appliances from Oswestry attended the scene at 4.15pm where a single decker bus engine caught fire.
Crews used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire and damped it down, as well as using two breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to detect any hotspots.
The scene was cleared by 4.30pm.
