A POPULAR music festival will this year be raising money for Hope House Children’s hospices.

Gigfest will take place this weekend across two Oswestry locations, Ye Olde Vaults and the Griffin Inn and will showcase an array of local talent.

The event kicks-off on Friday night with local bands, Destination and the infamous Wrexham-based Salty Hog, fronted by Paul Sturman.

The Sunday night finale hosts two of the most popular Oswestry bands, The Heather Bebb Band and the outstanding crowd pleasers The Mirrors.
