A CHARITY in Oswestry is already preparing to receive ‘the key to the door’ next year.
Hope House Children’s Hospice will mark its 21st birthday in 2016 and plans are now well underway after a meeting with Clive Knowles from the British Ironwork Centre who are preparing to host the biggest children’s tea party ever!
The event, which will take place in June 2016, will include an array of bright, enchanting circus animals, alongside performers, jugglers and many more acts within the exciting big top tent which is to take pride of place on the centre’s lawn.
Lynsey Kilvert, from Hope House, said: “The day’s festivities are certain to be a hit with families and children of all ages with an ever growing list of events to take part in.
“With open air marshmallow cooking points through to bubble fun runs, where those involved must wear white and be prepared for an explosion of colour, there is certainly going to be something for everyone.
“Together the British Ironwork Centre and the wonderful Hope House look forward to welcoming more than 600 guests, all in aid of the spectacular services the hospice has provided for more than 20 years.”
The BIC is currently extending an invitation to all performers, singers, dancers, stilt walkers and more to support the hospice by taking part.
