STAFF from the Advertizer and Sainsbury’s spent the weekend at the Oswestry-based supermarket wrapping flowers for Mother’s Day.
For the past couple of months the Advertizer has been raising money for Hope House Children’s Hospice... and will continue to do so throughout 2015. Donations from the two day flower wrapping event totalled a magnificent £288.36.
Hundreds of pounds has already been raised by staff through events such as a cake sales, a sponsored slim and a flower wrapping for Mother’s Day, while numerous donations have also been received from generous ‘Tizer readers.
And now we want you to become an ‘Advertizer Hope House Children’s Hospices fundraiser’
From coffee mornings to cycle rides and zumbathons to sponsored walks, there are hundreds of different ways you and your family, friends and work colleagues can help raise money.
Here at the Advertizer we would love you hear from you and help publicise your fundraising ideas. You can even get donations made straight to our Just Giving webpage to save you the hassle of setting one up yourself.
Once you have decided on how you are going to raise funds give one of our reporters a call on 01691 655321 and we will help promote whatever it is you are planning.
Then once it is over and the money raised has been calculated you can either present it to the staff at Hope House – telling them you are doing it as part of the Advertizer’s campaign – or donate online via our Just Giving webpage by visiting
Another way of donating to the cause without moving anything more than a few fingers and your thumb is to text BCAC84 followed by £1, £3, £5 or £10 to 70070.
